Flavio Cesarini’s recent artistic research is currently mainly directed toward a synergy of photography painting and drawing. This work is primarily embodied in the series Forever and Animale razionale. Forever aims to make explicit moments of intense aesthetic experience and is formed by intuitions (limited series of high-quality prints), and objects (paintings of various sizes and executed using different techniques). Rational Animal is inspired by the philosophical theme bearing the same name and consists of paintings derived from a selection of the artist’s daily drawings.
